황록색 앞면과 뽀얀 뒷면 사이로
긴 대롱 모양의 담녹색 꽃 매달고 있네
산과 들에 저절로 피는 푸르스름한 빛은
황정주 마신 신선의 빛이런가

前黃綠與後白間(전황록여후백간) 
掛在管形淡綠花(괘재관형담록화) 
山野自開綠光芒(산야자개록광망) 
飮黃精酒仙光嗎(음황정주선광마)

Between the yellow-green front and the white back
it has light green flowers hanging in the shape of a long pipe
The bluish light that blooms naturally in the mountains and fields
is this the light of immortality that Hwang Jeong-ju drank?

※ 管形(관형): 대롱 모양
※ 光芒(광망): 광선의 끝, 빛살끝
※ 黃精酒(황정주): 황정을 넣어서 빚은 술

                              (100년이상 묵힌 둥굴레술, 이 술을 마시면 신선이 되어 올라간다는 옛말이 있음)
