Big and small
한시여정(漢詩旅程) 皓石(호석) 권오채
소인배의 말은 겉만 화려하고
대인배의 말은 지날수록 향기롭네
꽃이 질 때 소인배는 같이 사라지고
꽃이 질 때 대인배는 함께 하네
小人輩言是浮爛(소인배언시부란)
大人輩話過時芬(대인배화과시분)
花謝時小人與消(화사시소인여소)
落花時大人俱存(낙화시대인구존)
The words of person who is petty and crafty are only flashy on the outside,
The words of a great man become more fragrant as time passes
When the flowers fall, the person who is crafty disappear with them,
When flowers bloom, great men are together with
※ 小人輩(소인배): 마음 씀씀이가 좁고 간사한 사람들이나 그 무리
※ 過時(과시): 때가 지나감
※ 大人輩(대인배): 도량이 넓고 관대한 사람들이나 그 무리
