입은 사랑을 찌르는 칼이고

재앙은 입으로부터 나오네

입은 믿음을 키우는 싹이고

행복은 입으로부터 나오네

 

口是刀刺愛(구시도자애) 

禍從口出來(화종구출래) 

口是芽育信(구시아육신)

福以口出來(복이구출래)  

 

The mouth is a knife that stabs love,

Disaster comes from the mouth

The mouth is the sprout that grows faith,

Happiness comes from the mouth
